Led Zeppelin's Page, Jones join Foos in London NEW YORK (Billboard) - Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones turned a high-profile Foo Fighters show into a once-in-a-lifetime event Saturday night (June 7) at London's Wembley Stadium, joining the Foos for covers of Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" and "Ramble On." Drummer Taylor Hawkins took the microphone for the former, and frontman Dave Grohl sang the latter. Grohl, a lifelong Zeppelin fanatic who was on hand for the group's December 2007 one-off reunion in London, told the crowd that Saturday's experience constituted "the greatest day of my entire life." The Foos' summer European tour continues Wednesday in Bergen, Norway, and wraps June 22 at Germany's Southside Festival. A North American run begins July 9 at Seattle's Key Arena. They look like they were having fun and sounded great check out the clips; Rock and Roll Ramble on

Thanks for the great photo there Pledm! Foo fighters will be playing here in Stockholm this weekend I think. Saturday if I am not mistaken. I like David Grohl's drumming a lot.

Pretty cool, pretty neat. Not a huge Foo Fighters fan here, just kind of neutral. I love Nirvana though, looks like Ghroll was living one of his life's dreams. Would have liked to seen more of Jonesy though. Rock and Roll with the drummer singing was better I thought. It'll be interesting to see the DVD then maybe I'll have more interest. Thanks for posting it.
