Hi,
I just finished downloading 2 songs from this artist her name is Buffy Saint-Marie,she is a great folk singer from the late 60`s-70`s.The songs were `He`s an Indian cowboy in the rodeo` and The Piney wood hills,great songs if you have the time look them up.
But I want to leave you with this song,since Bush has put 20,000 more soldiers into Iraq its a video from 1970,the song she is singing was also a hit from Donovan its called Universal Soldier,give it a look.

Sadly, the video is taken down now. I hadn't thought of Buffy St-Marie for a long time. She is a great singer. Her voice is unique. It gives you chills. Do you remember Phil Ochs? He died very young but what a legacy of great protest songs! See if you can find his songs somewhere. I'm glad it's ok to be anti-war at this site. It makes some people really crazy.

Hi plantlady ya I enjoy alot of folk music love the early 60`s stuff.I remember Phil ochs enjoy his songs and stance on things he did die young suicide if I remember correctly,his brother is Michael oochs he runs the Michael Ochs Archives the largest archive of music related photos.
