I once lived in a house that was over 100 years old, and it was haunted. We lived there for nearly 3 years. The spookiest things that happened were: drawers would open on their own; glass lamps would just fall off the ceiling and break, and the spookiest thing of all was that the shower door imploded upon me and my oldest son while we were taking a shower for no reason at all!!! You can imagine how scary that was. 
We actually were interviewed and put in the newspaper (the Seattle Times) for that incident!
Many of my friends saw the ghosts, yes there were more than one, and it really freaked some of them out. One of my girlfriends hated sleeping the night over because of how haunted my house was.
Plus we had really bad luck while we lived there. We had someone fire a shotgun at the light in our yard. We even has someone shoot a bullet through our laundry room door!!! The bullet through the door thing happened while I was gone at work and my oldest daughter was babysitting! After that happened, I decided it was time to move out, and that is just what we did.
