Any questions you have for a psychic?

Keep in mind that this is my gift from the Higher Power, and I feel sharing it with any one who needs it is what the Higher Power would have me do. Surely someone has a question for me about what makes me think I am a psychic, or what it is like being one? It is very strange to other's the way I am. I have been able to communicate with 4 people telepathically, and after we do this we double check outloud to see if we got each other's thoughts accurate, LOL! It is a fun game to play to me! And I have visions of the future sometimes that come true. I also am a spiritualist/medium, so I can communicate with the dead, and often do, LOL! Plus, many other interesting things that I go through darn near every day. So please, if you are curious, post away!

Have you ever had someone from the other side contact you because they wanted you to deliver a message to someone?

Definately yes. More than once, actually. It has happened to me at every funeral that I go to. I am beginning to think that most peoples spirits hang around their loved ones atleast until the funeral is over because of it. I usually don't give the message to the person until some time has passed, and I can tell them a white lie, and say that I dreamt about their loved one, and he/she told me to tell you this... That way they don't get spooked by the fact that I could actually see their loved one's ghost! One has to use a lot of tact when one is a psychic as I am, LOL! ;D

What exactly makes one a psychic? I mean I have premonitions all of the time about if I should or should not do something, and I can sometimes sense a presence of something not human, but I wouldn't call myself psychic. Does that make sense? And where do you believe you get your gift? I don't want to sound rude. I don't mean to be.

I believe that there are many different reasons why people are or become psychic. I think that being psychic is only using more of one's brain than what the average person uses. And that one can train one's self to learn to access other parts of one's brain through mediation and mental exercises. I believe that everyone has the capacity to become psychic to one degree or the other. Our minds are much more powerful than we know.

In my case, I had a VERY traumatic childhood, which actually caused my brain to form differently than other people's would. Because I had to constantly worry about being attacked for no reason at all, I became super-sensitive to the feelings of other's around me, as a self-defense mechanism. I became an empath to a certain degree. I have heard of military men that become so aware of other's people's energy/aura's that they can sense somehow when the presence of another person is near. I believe that they are capable of doing this because they are trying to survive a war, and I lived through a war of sorts almost my entire childhood, which caused me to become quite sensitive to other people's energy/aura's, or their mood per say.

I also had the spirit of my dead Mother come to me when I was 5 years old. I could see her plain as day. She was the first "ghost" that I ever saw. And I have been capable of seeing "ghosts" when they are around since then. So I don't know how I developed the clairvoyance, it just awoke in my mind when I was 5 years old. I noticed that my clairvoyance faded away quite a bit during puberty, but it came back strongly when I was in my early 20's. I think that being clairvoyant and capable of seeing the spirits that occasionally come around us is just a part of my brain that has opened up and allowed me to have access to it. That's my theory on the matter.
