Hi all, Today is World AIDS Day;
Today marks the 19th World Aids Day. The cold hard facts? AIDS has killed 25 million people, and infected 40 million more.
"Often times, people just think it's just gay people, it's just poor people, it's people who are from lower economic status," said Marjorie Hill of Gay Men's Health Crisis, in New York. "But HIV does not discriminate, and it is across all communities - women, men, straight, gay, black, white." Rates of HIV infection continue to grow, with 4 million new cases worldwide every year. The battle is waged even in countries that were previously models of control.
Pray for those that are lost and that have it.
Check it out, and stay safe.

I'm glad there are some good meds out for AIDS nowadays, pity they are only available for us rich bastards in the west.
