Hi Bobin, For me I use alot of conditioner but I always use a company that is `Not tested on amimals` and if lucky Product contents are Biodegradable. The one I`m using now isn`t fancy its pretty simple inexpensive.I`m using `Europeon formula`.I`ve tried many shampoo/conditioners and this really works for the price and ingredients, heck if you look at the ingredients they are all the same just some of the expensive stuff have flower fragrances. But I like this product,it gives me shine its healthy/biodegratable/not tested on amimals,,and my hair looks great,,can`t lose ha ha.

I don't use what I would call natural skin care products, because I am a firm believer in putting collagen on my face. But I use melatonin to help me sleep at night, which is a natural supplement. And the side effect of the melatonin is a youthful look. So needless to say, I like the side effect quite a lot! ;D

I don't use what I would call natural skin care products, because I am a firm believer in putting collagen on my face. Collagen is natural, not "chemical". It's taken from dead animals. It's totally useless though, if you put it on your skin. If you look at the chemical structure, you will notice that the molecules are so big that they can't penetrate your skin. It's like putting vaseline on your face, only it's less shiny. Collagen from a jar can never get to the deeper layers of your skin where your own collagen and elastine threads works to keep your skin firm and elastic. You are wasting money there Debbie. I know this because I have studied a lot of chemistry and have gone to several beauty therapist courses when I worked with skincare and cosmetics. Collagen can not be added to your skin for any anti aging effect whatsoever. However, I am not against the "non-natural" skincare products either. I use some Christian Dior and Clinique myself, along with Biotherm and the likes. Bodyshop and Lush I use for bodycare and haircare products - not my face.

And talking about big molecules... Any face cream that contains a lot of mineral oil (vaseline, paraffine, petroleum oil etc) will also fail to penetrate your skin fully, and get absorbed. Mineral oil will stay on the surface and block the pores. Anyway, who wants a petrol bi-product on their skin anyway? Still we use it on babies... Most baby oils are mineral oils.

Wow, that sucks to know Bobinbed! What do you think would work well for anti-aging moisturizing effects other than collagen?

The best moisturizing effect is what you get when you use a good exfoliating product followed by a high moisture product. I've found Cliniques turnaround concentrate a great (daily if you need) exfoliator to use at night before night cream. Gets rid of all dead skin cells. makes skin absorb moisture more effectively, helps your skin to renew itself faster and gives you an even, smooth and perfect skin. Use it after cleansing at night and then put something "supermoist" on top... Something that is more water than oil if you get what I mean. I use Clinique Moisture Surge. Then seal the moisture in there by adding another cream on top of that, which contains more oils (preferably an oil-in-water emulsion or a generally "richer" cream. A good nourishing and repairing nightcream at night and a protective daycream in the day. I'm a Clinique girl....
Morning: Clinique soap extra mild Clinique clarifying lotion 1 Dramatically different moisturizing gel Moisture Surge (If I am dry) Moisture on call (or if it's sunny, Superdefence cream)
Evening: Clinique soap extra mild Clinique clarifying lotion 2 Turnaround concentrate (I only use it about twice a week because my lotion exfoliates too.) Moisture Surge Repairwear intensive nightcream or Advanced stop signs cream
I also use: Seven day scrub cream (maximum once a week), Advanced stop signs eyecream and Anti gravity eye cream.Other products I like a lot: Biotherm - De-Stress cream Biotherm - Aquasource cream Biodroga - Basic Moist Clarins - Energizing morning cream Kanebo - Eye contour balm If you need more activating anti-aging products, I can recommend:
Lifting/firming: Christian Dior - Model lift Clinique - Anti Gravity firming lift cream Helena Rubinstein - Face Sculpture
Radiance/smoothness: Clinique - Turnaround concentrate or Turnaround cream Helena Rubinstein - Force - C
Lines/wrinkles: A good, deep penetrating serum to use underneath all other creams you use. Most brands have one or more.
The sun ages the skin more than anything, so a good sunscreen (spf 30) is recommended. Drink lots of water.Note: out of the products mentioned, Biotherm, Clarins, Biodroga and Kanebo are "biological" while Rubinstein, Clinique and Dior are "chemical" but containing purified natural ingredients.

Wow, seems like I had better go shopping, LOL! Because your skin just looks great from all of the pictures that I have seen, and I am at the age where you really need to start paying a lot of attention to your skin.
