Hi all, Just wondering how everyone does there hair,what they use how many times they wash,,heres mine.My hair is long so I generally condition everyday and shampoo only every 9 days if I can help it,I find shampooing need not be done every day but conditioner is a must also the conditioner or the company that makes it must not have it tested on animals and be biodegradable and recyclable and one more thing when you look at the ingredients look for `Panthenol`,thats Vitamin 5 I think and it great for the hair,the hair is dead actually so it needs care. So whats you thoughts,,,  |

I too have long hair. It's down to my waist now. I wash with shampoo once or twice a week, but rinse with water every day. Instead of conditioner after the shampoo, I use a hair pack treatment or leave the conditioner in longer than recommended. In the summer the sun damages the hair so I sometimes wash, and leave the conditioner in, plait my hair and let it dry without rinsing. Then I rinse it out the next day. The Body Shop have great hair products for dry and damaged hair. So I am not the only one picky about my long hair, LOL! Lately I have been using Pantene, which I actually like. But usually my favorite is Aussie Mega. I love their 3 Minute Miracle! I only wash my hair twice per week, because I dye it, and that makes it extra easy to break. But I have to have good conditioner. I just can't afford the salon formula's, so I have to be happy with what I can get at the store.  |

I just found a great (and cheap) shampoo and conditioner that works well with my hair. It's VERY long now and got a bit dry, but when I used this "Gliss" shampoo and conditioner from Schwarzkopf it went really soft and shiny again like it used to be. It has liquid silk in it that makes the hair shiny.
