I`M a great fan, very talented,I have this video of him I taped from the country western station from around `71,its amazing,at one point he is talking to the audience, which is just a studio, the performance is from the `In Concert` performances, anyways he is about to sing a song and he tells his audience its a new one,its `heart of gold`,its an incredible performance.

Hi all,he`s going to be on The Daily Show on Wednesday, this would be a rare thing,he doesn`t do TV,or as such,,should be interesting. Comedy station or in Canada CTV.

Hi Bobin, The show was fantastic,Jon Steward showed a clip of Neil`s new documentary concert `Heart of Gold` and after that said this is the 1st time he didn`t want the clip stopped,he clearly was in awe of Neil, anyways neil came on they both were very humourous about things the audience and Jon clearly enjoyed the interview,a must see and the `doc` is another must see that I must see.

I've seen Neil Young a number of times--but my top two shows---I first saw Neil at the Kaleidoscope Club in Hollywood in 1968 with the Buffalo Springfield. He had on this fringer leather Davy Crockett-type jacket on and cooked on "Mr. Soul" and the jam with Steve Stills on "Bluebird." Another fantastic show was in 1976 at Boston gardens during the shortlived Stills & Young tour--he did a smokin' version of "Southern Man" and also sang on "The Loner" with Stills. I decribe that show more on pp. 194-195 of my books on Led Zeppelin, Whole Lotta Led. Check it out at www.wholelottaledthebook.com Young's a fantastic performer & great songwriter--and always delivered in concert. Plus he never sold out and let his songs be on television commercials, either!
