Has anyone ever had a really strange experience while at a concert or listening to music? I've been saving this up for years and never had any place to discuss it. Many moon ago, my boyfriend and I went to see Cream somewhere in Los Angeles. I think we were quite high, as was our wont at the time, and while focusing on the band from far away in our seats, the whole group suddenly flipped upside down. I'm quite sure it was them and not me, as my boyfriend would have mentioned it if I had stood on my head. I swear this happened. I wondered if it was something about the fine music vibrating my third eye. I went into a trance at a velvet underground concert and started walking through the crowd. I fully intended on mounting the stage and throwing my arms around Lou Reed. Never got there, probably all for the best. Many times I've cried in concerts because the music was so beautiful and I felt separated from that place where the music lived. I wonder if music is in a higher realm of consciousness where we yearn to go. Like heaven. Who knows? I bet a lot of people have had transcendent experiences listening to music. I'd love to hear from you about it.

Yes, I have cried at concerts before because the music affected me so much, so we have that in common. Especially when I heard Robert Plant sing Going to California a couple of years ago. It was amazing!
