A pine tree planted to commemorate the late George Harrison of The Beatles has died from an infestation by actual beetles. Really!
Today, in news more strange and wonderful than anything we could make up, a pine tree planted to commemorate George Harrison of The Beatles has died following a beetle infestation. No, really! Actual beetles. All the strange details below!
However, while the tree may have died, the memorial plaque which lay at the base of the tree remains. Furthermore, the tree will be replanted soon.
