Walking. Trekking. Wild Camping. Elk encounters.
Post all about it here.
When we're talking about nature and where to find the best of it, Bobinbed has the advantage. Sweden is without doubt pretty bloody marvellous for that sort of thing.
Forests and lakes galore, clean and unspoiled. You can go pretty much anywhere you like, and better still, there's hardly anyone else there to annoy you.
I however live in the UK. Which is a bit shit to be honest. It is still possible to find nature, wilderness and solitude, but you have to look a bit harder. Usually in the direction of Scotland and the Lake District.
To my shame I've never visited either. But that's going to change this year. But more on that subject later though.
Now.... Bobinbed, are you going to post that f*cking picture from the bridge now or what? ;D

Happy now?
Yes you are right - Sweden is great for walking. Miles and miles of forests. The occasional lynx, wolf, bear or elk...

Yes. Yes, I'm happy now. You didn't mention anything about bears, wolves and the like when I was out there walking in the woods. Not a bloody word about creatures with big pointy teeth. Obviously you just forgot.

I must find my way to Sweden one fateful day. I may be dirt poor, but I'm quite clean of spirit. The simplicity and solitude of nature calls.
