You guys get to cook so healthy! My family won't eat healthy stuff like that. I really miss being able to use a lot of vegetables in my cooking. Maybe when the boys move out, I will be able to go back to using vegetables in my cooking again. Until then I'm stuck with the "meat and potatoes" basics.

My grandson calls this orgasmic food (he's a weird kid, but I like him)
brown rice steamed broccoli frozen or fresh peas lots of minced fresh ginger thai peanut sauce olive oil
cook the rice. steam the broccoli. mince the ginger. stir fry the ginger. add the broccoli, peas and rice. splash some peanut sauce over it as much as you like. put a lid on and let the ingredients get to know each other in privacy for a few minutes. eat. smile.

I have a lot of good ideas about food even though I eat mostly crap and coca cola. Being on the road with my job, I just grab things from convenience stores when I get hungry. To stay in good health or get well, the best thing to do is support your immune system. Going vegan is great if you can stay strong. My grandson is vegan and thrives on it, while some people become weak and get colds, etc. Staying away from meat is good because so much meat from factory farms is tainted. It is possible that Alzheimers disease is actually mad cow. Animals suffer and die horribly in these places, and it can't be good for us to consume them after that. Stay away from sugar, white flour, and processed foods, if possible. Get a juice extractor and use organic fruits and vegetables to make juice. A good one is called the Juiceman, and is around $100. Chinese medicine is great for working to strengthen the immunity. They use herbs, roots and all sorts of things to make strong medicinal teas. They don't taste good, but they really work. Once when I was very sick, I was brought back to health using these remedies, and I really believe in them.
