Hi everyone--I grew up during the 60s and saw my share of psychedelia in music, school & friends's lives. I won't go into huge detail but I've got some stories about my times growing up & seeing various bands in my book, Whole Lotta Led. Some of my favorite mind-blowing shows were the Doors, Jefferson Airplane and Led Zeppelin. My hobbies have been linked to nature--surfing, swimming, the beach--and also the arts with photography and writing. I grew up in Southern California and have always had to live by the coast--I don't know what I'd do without it! Times have changed in many ways with my friends, priorities and life outlook. I barely survived the 70s, as the story on p. 160 of my book clearly shows. And although I still look back on the 60s & 70s with fond memories I don't live in the past but in the now. For me, I want to learn from my past, live in the present (it's a gift), and plan for the future.

Lucky you... I would have LOVED to have gone to see those awesome sixties and seventies bands live. Sadly, I was too young.
